“Legendary Climbs”: 9 days, 6 climbs on roads closed to traffic and dedicated to cycling enthusiasts. The thrill of riding towards the most famous finishes in the Cuneo valleys in a celebration of cycling tourism.

We look forward to seeing you in the summer of 2024, in the province of Cuneo, at the foot of Monviso, with six legendary climbs made famous by the feats of professional racers, which you can tackle on roads closed to motor vehicles and reserved for cyclists

It isn’t a race but a celebration of cycling and an opportunity for cycling enthusiasts to travel at their own pace, without the spirit of competition, on roads full of appeal, due to their elevation gain and by virtue of the memory of the feats of the professionals, without having to share the roads with motor vehicles.

In parallel, Tournée des Grand Cols takes place on the French side and is a similar event that makes the Italian-French cross-border area of Monviso the ideal setting for days of great cycling tourism. Discover the French event on lequeyras.

Legendary Climbs in the Lands of Monviso reaches its fourth edition after seeing the participation of about 10,000 cycling enthusiasts during the first three editions. The event is organized by Terres Monviso with the support of European Union resources under the Interreg ALCOTRA Italy France 2021-2027 Program – Project n. 21276 Terres Monviso + ATTRA(c)TIVE, by the Mountain Unions of Valle Stura, Valle Grana, Valle Maira, Valle Varaita, Comuni del Monviso and Barge-Bagnolo, and by the Municipality of Saluzzo with the technical collaboration of Velo Caraglio and Vigor Cycling Team. The Piedmont Region, Province of Cuneo, Uncem Piedmont, and ATL of Cuneo have granted their patronage.
